Can I be an FVMA member if I do not reside in Florida?

Yes, the FVMA offers a non-resident membership. Veterinarians who graduated from an AVMA-accredited College of Veterinary Medicine or have successfully met the requirements of the Educational Commission of Foreign Veterinary Graduates (ECFVG) or the Program for the Assessment of Veterinary Education Equivalence (PAVE) and who do not reside in the State of Florida, may sign up to become a member.

Non-resident members have the rights and privileges of full membership, except for voting rights.

What continuing education programs does the FVMA offer?

The FVMA offers a number of continuing education opportunities for veterinarians, technicians, and other members of the veterinary team annually. Please visit our conferences page for information about our upcoming educational events.
